HELPING VETERANS TRANSITION TO CIVILAN LIFE


     G.I. Driver is a non-profit company that provides counseling to help veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces transition from military to civilian life.  This includes holding workshops addressing topics of concern to transitioning veterans interested in finding employment or staring their own business. 


     For veterans looking for employment, the workshop topics include how to write a resume and job interview skills.  G.I. Driver also holds events where veterans can use these skills to meet and interview with prospective employers interested in hiring veterans. 


     For veterans interested in working for themselves, the workshop topics include how to start your own business and how to run your business.  G.I. Driver holds events where veterans can meet with representatives of companies such as franchises and ride-sharing services interested in providing self-employment opportunities to veterans.  


     G.I. Driver also provides transitioning veterans with information regarding various benefits and rights to which they are entitled, that together with the workshop skills provided to them will help them successfully transition to civilian life.
